Yeah, I knew there were some minor problems there. Especially with the General Forum Information Section. The Arya Samaj Discussion Forums should still work, though. With IE, you can right-click and then choose 'open' or 'open in a new window', etc.

But, I agree, the font isn't really cutting it either.

Na ja, I'm just experimenting. But, thanks for the feedback! Wink

For a second i was shocked seeing all the links "un-launch-in-a-tab'able". Anyway, try reducing the size of the font - it might look more aesthetic.

I suggest you remove the scrolling effect of the forums title. Contents of an interface are best left as they are, unless and until it becomes necessary for improving the accessibility and efficiency of the interface by a great degree.

I assume you are referring to the marquee at the top of the page. The only people that should have a technical problem with it are those using older versions of NS. It's checked out on IE and Firefox.

Do you think it's causing problems?

You got me mistaken here. I'm not talking about personal hindrance (as there is none) however i'm a usability engineering fanatic and basically, you have to apply the law of parsimony here - the best interface is the one that is most functional. Aesthetics are good yes, but not unnecessary frills. The scrolling title bar will not only cause delay for a person interested in checking what homepage he's checking, but also might irritate him.

PD was referring to the scrolling banner I had at the very top of the page that said "Krinvanto Vishwam Aryam ~ Make This World Noble ~ Satyam Eva Jayate ~ The Truth Shall Conquer". He felt that it might be putting people off the site. He was the first one to mention it, and I hadn't heard any complaints, but seeing as he is the only other active person on the forum at the moment, I thought I would indulge him. Wink

To create a distinction between important links and ordinary text is a good thing, and now that you uploaded the new logo - the buttons blend in well nuff too Wink

As usual, a li'l complaint - the small orange bit on the right of the button makes it look like a drop down box.
