Namaste all,

what language do you speak at home, just wondering Very Happy

we speak at home most of the time dutch. we also speak sarnami hindi but most of the timewhile speaking we change into dutch Confused . and than with friends we speak sranang tongo( language all Surnami people speak, its a combination of english,dutch,spanish, italiaan. thing is... even some dutch people speak or use it in there rap songs. and the turkisch and marocaan olso use it as a street language Evil or Very Mad

Namaste Prahbat Ji,

We speak a mixture of English and German with a good deal taken from local dialects. As a matter of course, a lot of Sanskrit appears in discussion as well. (How can you talk about Samkhya, for example, without it? lol)

sorry for asking, but whats "samkhya".

a mixture of English and German and do you sometimes say some hindi words in it. sounds very funny, as we now try to speak bolly-hindi, gives a funny situation

At my home we speak telugu - with lots of hindi (deccani or hyderabadi), urdu, and english thrown in. Samajh Ayinda? ( Did u get that? Wink ) . We call it Khichdi.

It must be fun knowing that many languages.

I speak English, a bit of french and little hindi. I am attempting to learn hindi so i can teach my children.
