God gives human body to soul based on soul's actions, merits etc. It is fruit based on justice. God supervises soul's actions and based on that gives human body to a qualified - deserving soul. No one can insist or compel God in this matter. It is solely God's judgment & justice. In fact, we are not able to create body of any creature.

sorry i don't understand. are you saying that the body gets a soul. or a soul gets a body.
and i understand that god gives us the body, but why this body?

Yes. The soul gets body. Body is for time being, while soul is eternal - existing for ever. The body is meant for a particular soul, not a soul is meant for one particular body. Body is temporary tool. The body given to soul is an instrument provided to him based on his deeds - actions. God has been the creator of all body-designs of the creatures like human, cow, goat, snake, butterfly, trees etc. He is the designer of all these various (unlimited in human knowledge, but limited in God's knowledge) bodies. This way the issue could be understood. 7th, 8th & 9th chapters of Satyarthprakash (Light of Truth) can be useful for better understanding.
