Namaste Shyena Ji,

As far as I can recollect it gives info about the astronomical data in Mahabharata and shows how the myths surrounding Krishna are false - that he had 16000 wives, his raasa kridas , and thieving image which arose from the Bhagavath and poetry of Surdas etc. I just went through this book long ago . I dont remember the specifics.

Gita is a portion of Mahabharat. In Mahabharat & Gita both we find references of Vedas. Sri Krishna has been described in Mahabharat as "knower of the Vedas". In fact, he studied the Vedas. On other hand there is no human history in the Vedas - no reference of Sri Krishna or Gita.
This shows that the Vedas are very very old (revealed in the beginning of the human race). Only a person who is not at all aware of such simple facts can dare to say that Gita is older than the Vedas.

jain muni sri sagar ji states
there is vratti [intension ] pravatti [tedency ] and parinam [result ] which governs the thinking.
tatah padam tadmargtavyam , yashingata na nivartanti bhooyah..gita
jahi na chahiye kabanhi kachhu , tum san sahaj saneh.. ramcharitmanas
we should always be respecting the others feelings . dharm and dharm granthas are always respectable as our parents are.
sorry.
