Namaste All,

Upon an invitation by Anupam Ji, the administrator of several online groups dedicated to spreading the message of Vaidik Dharm, I have decided to collaborate in an attempt to get a Satyarth Prakash Study Group going. As some of you might remember, I attempted this about 1 year ago here at the Arya Samaj Forum with little success and eventually abandoned the project with a view towards continuing it when the chances of its success were greater. Though I cannot be certain if that time has come, I am always willing to try. Anupam Ji and several others around the web have expressed interest, and we hope to be able to raise enough interest for some good discussions.

We will be using the Vedic Gurukul site at Yahoo! for the purpose of carrying out the actual study sessions. Naturally, you all are invited to join the group. I have written a study guide to our first session, which can be downloaded from the group's files page. Additional study guides will appear roughly every month.

If you are interested in discussing the Satyarth Prakash in depth, then please join this group. Your participation would be greatly appreciated.namaste

The home page of the Vedic Gurukul site is:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VedicGurukul/

You can also keep track of the progress of the Study Group by viewing the newly integrated and fully automatic RSS reader on the front page of the Arya Samaj Forum, located in the lower left-hand column.

Namaste Prabhat,

Well, last time we tried it here, our group dwindled down to two people, not including myself, in a matter of weeks. I'm hoping things will go differently at Vedic Gurukul. Besides, many more people have Yahoo, and it's easier to join such groups.

(By the way, do you have a copy of the Dutch translation of Satyarth Prakash yet? Let me know how that is going. Wink)

Namaste,

For those who are interested, the Study Guide for the Second Session of the Satyarth Prakash Study Group has just been posted on the Vedic Gurukul site. I hope you all will at least take a look at the PDF and think about some of the questions raised there.
