Om
Yes the picture has long a story, and a funny one too. The picture was taken recently during an inauguration of a Vedic Bhavan in small village in Mauritius.
The land on which stands a magnificent building was a donation of 80 years old twin brothers. It was a dream to them to see the complete Bhavan ere the call... So the Bhavan was completed in a staggering 14 months only.
I am a member of the Mauritius Arya Ravi Ved Pracharini Sabha. For those familiar with our Bhasha its main aim is Ved Pracharr.
I am very happy to join this forum and hope to bring as much as i can to the many debates going on here with my (you will notice) progressive ideas.
Swami Dayanand kindle a flame in our hearts and it is our mission, indeed our dharm, to make it stronger.
We are all here talking to each other in this group. But about the OTHERS, those who are suffering, not just of poverty, famine, war but corruption of the mind also. Corrupted by creed, corrupted by hatred, Corrupted by over sized egos.
[/b]
Does the solution lie in having these debates like here? I believe yes.
Satyaarth Prakash, literally means True Light, so should we be content by just bathing in this magnificent light?Should we not try our best to give everybody the opportunity to do it?
Very very happy to be joining this magnificent forum.
Vipin Raj(which sanskrit conversant people will find very funny for a name)
Om shanti. [/code] |

Namaste everybody....
By the way I like how you guys greet people around here. Namaste is not just a greeting like bonjour or good morning , it is a mark of respect as well, heard that somewhere once.
No I'm not Leo, I was born in January, and i guess I'm not wise either. Wisdom is proportional to age and knowledge and I'm just 18 with a High School degree.
The MARVPS aims at organizing various Vedic activities around Mauritius. The Maitri Sabha is in Port-Louis. There 18 members in the managing committee and they are elected democratically by the Ravi Ved family.
The list of the activities of the MARVPS is very long, I'll give it to you later.
The split is only political not ideological. It has something to do with the number of members in the parliament we get.
I am not definitely an experienced pandit, my father does it as a 4th Job.
Acharya Sunil Ji OSK(distinction awarded by the government) is a Phd in Vedic Philosophy. I will tell him about the forum.

Namaste VipinRaj Ji
I asked whether you are a Leo as I thought your name means Lord of the Jungle? Just wanted to know if that is what it means. _________________ Namaste
