1. The registration of Arya Samaj had been done on 7 March 1875. Therefore It had been founded by Swami Dayanand Saraswati on 7th March 1875.<br>2. Swami Dayanand was born in Maurvi (not Tankara, consult his AutoBiography) .

Swami Dayananda's birth place was Tankara. It is well established by his biographers like Pt. Devendranath Mukhopadhyay. Swamiji has given just a hint of Morvi (=Morbi) state in his autobiographical accounts. He did not wish to give exact name of his birth town Tankara. Similarly he never disclosed his parents names etc.

Very recently Dayananda's pictures are prepared by Paropkarini Sabha - Ajmer. One can contact — Dr. Dharmvirji, Paropkarini Sabha, Dayananda Ashram, Kesargunj, Ajmer, Rajastan-India.

When Dayananda's photo was taken, he advised not to place his picture in the Arya Samaj. He was afraid that his followers may misuse it by worshipping it. Despite his advice his pictures are placed. However, no member of the Arya Samaj worships his pictures. This is really a good sign.
